My new friend Nora…
So I met Nora a while ago thru our mutual friend Jane Zaccaria of Tiddlywinks & Scallywags and talked about photographing her family as well as her work. Nora is the co-owner of a business with her brother called Nora Fleming….they design and sell decorative “mini’s” to dress up dishes for any occasion as well as aprons, table linens and more…check it out for yourself norafleming. Love her blog and I knew we’d be friends when I saw that she liked heather bailey very inspiring and those trash ties are so cool…heatherbailey.
Anyway, it’s a good thing I like her because after photographing Nora who needs no “enhancing” as I would if I were on the other side of the lens… it would be easy to not like her for that alone…I swear these are just about right out of the camera….hmmm maybe she needs to start selling a skin treatment line as well.
Nora you’re awesome thanks for letting me spend time with you and your family!

Who says we don’t have fun?
Here’s a funny story about this family and how we finally got here. About a year ago I was in Hobby Lobby and saw this woman with 2 gorgeous girls…one a redhead with alabaster skin and the other a brunette with olive skin…I remarked to her how beautiful they were thinking she was going to tell me one was her niece. To my surprise she said they were her daughters and that she also had a son. Well I waited till she left the store and approached her in the parking lot with my card telling her that I was a photographer and would love to photograph her girls no charge for my portfolio. (Which by the way I almost never do but these girls really stood out…as you can see) She told me that they were going out of town but might call when she returned. Well I didn’t hear from her so I thought…she’s not interested. Anyway, next thing I know she’s at my grand opening booking a session and reminding me of our meeting last summer..we had a good laugh about it!
This is one awesome family with their colorful kids…we had so much fun! They are all great kids, completely different looking with personalities to match!
